Office Portrait Photography

  • The Client & Sector: MM Wealth. Corporate money management.
  • The Brief: Shoot modern office portrait photography of staff on location in the company offices using different spaces to create variety between subjects. Shoot some working group shots.
  • My Approach: I shot on location in the Cambridge offices over a few dates, producing headshot portraits full of light and colour.  I blended the natural office lighting with window light and a studio strobe with soft-lighter. Each mini portrait session lasted about 30 minutes to ensure subjects were comfortable and to achieve some variety of expression/look. The working group shots were set up in scenarios realistic to working day activities. A big challenge was having to shoot in tight spaces, often with very little natural light.
  • Finished Work & Outcomes: The finished photography portfolio was used for staff profiles internally. The images were also used for a ‘who we are section’ on the company website.
