Eske Willerslev is a scientist in the field of DNA. Although originally from Copenhagen, he now works for the University of Cambridge at St John’s college and the department of zoology. He is also a member of The Adventurers’ Club and has led expeditions to Siberia and Greenland. St John’s college provided an epic backdrop to this location based portrait session shot on a cold November Sunday. The cover shoot was commission by Danish journal, Magisterbladet.
